Story

This musical tells the story of the Gold Diggers, Townspeople and Cattle Rustlers who live in the town of Gold Rush in the gold mining days. The Mayor of the town wants to sell it to a group of high-flying business people from the city, known as The Consortium, led by Mr. X, Mr. Y and Miss Z, who want to turn the town into a tourist resort. Can the Gold Diggers and Townspeople find a way to save their town? Meet the world renowned Can Can girls– Belle, Elle, and Nell,  who work in the Lucky Strike saloon; the Gold Diggers, searching for their fortune on the gold fields; the Cattle Rustlers, who cause trouble wherever they go; and Clarence the chicken farmer who is hard of hearing.
